About Guyville

Guyville is a Los Angeles based duo comprised of its founding members, Kat Hamilton and Emily Hulslander. As their name suggests, the legacy of Liz Phair brought them together in songwriting bliss, crafting songs that combine elements of 90s rock, pop and country.

The duo released three singles while they were finishing their debut album; "Nothing" captured a blissful kiss off to exes past through roots rock and hints of country twang...second single "Should Have Never Dated" combined elements of Veruca Salt-like grunge guitars and rock drums combined with Guyville's signature harmonies, and their third single "Boys + Girls W Guitars", was a alt-rock song with a huge singalong chorus and lyrics about constantly repeating the habit of sleeping with musicians just because they're talented... which in our creative world is highly relatable

Their debut album "Girls With Guitars" was released on 2/24/2023. The album artfully blends genres of indie-rock, singer-songwriter, and Americana crafting a promising debut filled with songs you won't soon forget.
